Art Deco house with two dwellings, signed and dated on the ground floor “(J.) VAN DEN ENG / ARCH. 1927”; together with nos. 6 and 8 it forms a coherent row of houses of the same period. The symmetrical three-storey elevation beneath a mansard roof, in white imitation stone on a marble plinth, has basket-arched or canted-corner openings. On the ground floor, the front door and the garage door frame a grilled octagonal oculus with stained glass; above, a bow window on a corbel carries a parapeted terrace, and a bell-shaped gable with an octagonal oculus stands in front of the mansard. The carved floral decoration, the window frame with a stained-glass transom and the original wrought-iron grilles have been preserved. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
