Three-façade Art Deco building influenced by the Amsterdam School, designed in 1931 by the architect Victor Maes; it opens a coherent row of buildings of the same period that ends at no. 19. The three-storey brick elevation, with some bricks set on end or projecting decoratively, is articulated by rectangular projections beneath parapeted terraces and by corner pilasters. The entrance, in a central projection, is flanked by grilled oculi, approached between semicircular low walls forming flower boxes and framed in blue and gold ceramic. The original gabled roof incorporating a pergola was replaced in 1989 by a mansard beneath a flat roof, and the joinery has been replaced. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
