Multi-family house with a warehouse in the Art Deco style, built for L. Michielsen to a 1932 design by the local architect Jos Sels-Vermeiren; within a mainly modernist body of work, it stands out with the neighbouring no. 61, by the same architect, for its sober Art Deco. Of two bays and three storeys under a flat roof, on a reinforced-concrete frame, it has a cornice façade of brownish-yellow brick, combined with imitation stone, now painted, for the ground floor, bay window and gable. The axis is marked by a three-sided bay window between quarter-round corner posts, crowned by a balcony with a wrought-iron balustrade in front of a semicircular triple window, framed by two pilasters beneath a curved gable. The wooden doors with hammered glass and the geometric wrought-iron grilles and balustrade survive; the ground floor houses a warehouse and the upper floors two flats. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
