Town house in floral Art Deco, built according to a building file of 1928 that names neither architect nor contractor; the client was A. Dua. It belongs to a homogeneous row of six houses (nos. 7 to 17) designed in 1927 or 1928 in Deurne, marked by rhythmic bay windows and an alternation of brick with imitation stone or white stone. The two-storey cornice façade under a mansard roof, in red hand-moulded brick on an expressive brick base, uses imitation stone for the string courses, stepped surrounds, bow window, crowning and the Art Deco low-relief ornament. The first-floor bow window is decorated with floral elements, flower baskets and spirals, and the balcony at roof level has a bell-shaped crowning with garlands and a blind cartouche; the geometric wrought iron of the door, transom window and balcony survives. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
