Apartment building in the Art Deco style built for the Luyten brothers and sisters after a 1931 design by Arthur Vander Heyden; it belongs to the late work of the architect, who in the interwar years used the Beaux-Arts and cottage styles and Art Deco. Two unequal bays wide and five storeys high under a flat roof, it has a façade of white stone or imitation stone, combined with red brick in the entrance bay. The asymmetrical composition emphasises the wide left bay, taller and stepped at the top, marked by a trapezoidal bay window over three floors topped by a wrought-iron balcony; a relief of a dragon adorns the stepped top. The windows have worked lintels and a floral Art Deco motif on the parapets, and the top floor, like the original ground floor, has mitre-arched openings. The ground floor, which housed a café, has been altered and the joinery of the upper floors renewed after the existing pattern. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
