Immeuble de rapport Art déco, rue Bodeghem 39-41

Small five-storey building dating from 1934, recorded in the inventory. Its façade of yellow brick, white stone and concrete is characteristic of Art Deco in the angular form of the projecting bay, punctuated by piers, on the first floor and in the geometric design of the balcony railing above it. The upper floors have wide windows grouped in threes, and the third level retains stained glass with waves and stylised flowers. A strongly projecting cornice topped by a wide dormer crowns the façade; the ground-floor garage door has been replaced by a shopfront.
