Art Deco block of flats on the corner of Rue du Fort, signed "G. Vandermeulen / architecte / 1928". The red-brick façade, partly rendered in white imitation stone, has five storeys under a mansard with dormers, with two identical three-bay façades on each street and a two-bay façade set at an angle on the corner. On the upper floors, giant pilasters, set at the corners as corner pilasters, carry stylised capitals decorated with flowers and beads, and each street façade is marked on its axis by a three-sided oriel topped by a terrace with an openwork parapet. The whole is crowned by a large tympanum with stucco plant ornament, flanked by cubic finials. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
