On the corner of Rue de Liège, this Art Deco office building was built in 1934 for the CPAS (public social welfare centre), which still occupies it today. Its yellow-brick façade, with blue and white stone elements, has nine bays, including a corner bay on a curved plan. On the corner, the main wrought-iron entrance door opens beneath a recessed porch of curved section in blue stone, formed by engaged columns and a massive decorative entablature. An upper-floor balcony continues with a tubular metal railing and the door is flanked by tubular-bar handrails; a third storey was added in 2008. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
