Apartment building with a shop in sober Art Deco, built in 1935 for the grocer Felix Wouters to designs by the architect Pierre De Jongh, on the corner of Beschavingstraat in the Exhibition district. The ground floor forms a base of bluestone and white artificial stone, topped by three red-brick storeys with bands of windows in white stone surrounds that stress the horizontal. The corner entrance bears inscriptions naming the architect and the contractor A. Janssen. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
