An Art Deco apartment building, built in 1931 for the Comptoir national des matériaux and possibly the work of the architect H. Vaes, designer of the very similar buildings at nos. 4 and 6 in the same street. Conceived as a ‘screen’ closing the vista from the park, it has five storeys under a flat roof, the top one an attic, faced in brick and set off with rendered elements. The ground floor is rusticated; on the upper floors, four bays are punctuated by pilasters, and on the first floor a continuous balcony with a parapet fronts the two central bays. The building has been recorded in the statutory inventory since 19 August 2024.
