Art Deco apartment building erected on the corner of Rue du Chantier to 1931 plans by the architects A. and H. Vandaele, and crowned in 1934 by an additional storey under a flat roof terrace. This massive brick building is punctuated vertically by bow windows over four storeys, trapezoidal, curved or rectangular, faced with imitation stone. The wrought-iron railings of the French windows and balconies are decorated with scroll motifs, and a large dormer marks the corner. On the ground floor, the entrance to the flats is framed by shopfronts.
