Art Deco apartment building erected to plans drawn up in 1933 by the architect R. Teughels, with an identical façade on Boulevard d'Ypres. Two trapezoidal bow windows express the two parallel series of flats, on either side of a staircase housed in a wedge-shaped shaft pierced by oblong glazed panels and marked over its full height by a cylindrical mast topped by two discs. The entrance door, beneath a semicircular canopy, bears the initial C of the master builder P. Commerman; the sculpted decoration combines gadroons, fruit and foliage.
