Fountain monument dedicated to Émile Bockstael (1838-1920), the last mayor of Laeken, designed in 1931 by the architect Jean Rombaux and the sculptor Ernest Salu II, and inaugurated on 10 July 1932. Made of bluestone, it stands south of the pond in the square Clémentine; its twelve-sided base carries a tall three-sided stele incorporating a fluted column and, against the front face, a white marble bust of the mayor. On the rear faces, a mascaron lets water pour into stepped basins.
