This Art Deco apartment building in Merksem was erected in 1933 for the merchant Constant Floren, who lived there himself; as the original building file has not survived, the designer is unknown. Within a neo-traditional row, its brown-brick façade contrasts with the white natural stone of the surrounds, the round-arched carriage entrance and the three-sided oriel. The gable frieze bears floral motifs in a conventional Art Deco style. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
