Apartment building in Art Deco style with neo-traditional references, built around 1938 in Merksem for the contractor Joannes Matthias Henricus Janssen-Suykerbuyck, who also had his business there; as the building file has not survived, the inventory considers it very likely that he also drew up the design. Damaged during the war, it was fully repaired in 1947. The red brick façade, enhanced with white stone, is organised around a central triangular bay window spanning two storeys and ends in a decorative pointed gable that ties it to the historicising setting of the street.
