Art Deco apartment building designed in 1931 by the architect-contractors J. Huwaert and H. Grasson for the latter's wife. The elevation of four equal bays and five storeys under a mansard slope and flat roof combines yellow brick and rendered areas above a rubble bluestone plinth. On the upper floors the bays project, more strongly for the outer ones, which shape the cornice. The joinery, including sashes with glazing-bar transoms and textured glass, and the wrought-iron window bars survive. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
