Art Deco apartment building designed by the architect Louis H. Tenaerts in 1936; the same architect also designed the neighbouring building at no. 20. The seven-storey red-brick elevation is enhanced with white stone and light-coloured rendered parts, and pierced by ribbon windows. The central entrance door is flanked by grilled portholes filled with coloured stained glass; on the upper floors, a five-storey central oriel is flanked on each floor by terraces with rounded parapets and tubular handrails. The front setback is enclosed by original Art Deco railings; the window frames have been replaced. The building is recorded in the inventory.
