Art Deco block of flats on the corner of Rue Jean Heymans, designed in 1933-1934 by the architect G. Franqui for himself or a family member, and signed on the plinth. The four-storey building under a mansard roof has a symmetrical five-bay elevation in red brick, enhanced with white imitation stone, white stone and bluestone, with a three-storey oriel and a projecting section on a trapezoidal plan at either end. The corner bay, canted on the ground floor where the entrance with its successively stepped surround opens, forms a bow window on the upper floors, with jambs of interlocking pyramidal elements, beneath a through-dormer with a stepped crest. The original door, with a wrought-iron grille and small side lights of geometric stained glass, survives. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
