Large Art Deco corner apartment building of 1935, signed on the façade by the architect J. L. Desmettre; it replaced two older houses, and an earlier, more modernist design by Fernand Bodson (1934) was not built. It has eight storeys under a mansard roof, the top three treated as an attic, with a commercial ground floor in rusticated Savonnières stone and rendered upper floors marked, every other bay, by a trapezoidal oriel. The rounded, slanting corner bay carries wide wrought-iron balconies and a stepped gable decorated with a relief of a musician and a dancer. The inventory notes typical Art Deco decoration (successive setbacks, railings with cylindrical balusters); the metal doors and the decoration of the common areas survive, and the building is recorded in the inventory.
