This Art Deco group, signed by the Ostend architect L. Corneau above the door, dates from 1933 according to the land registry archives, as a conversion of a nineteenth-century building. It consists of two four-storey houses arranged as mirror images, with a symmetrical rendered façade rhythmed by trapezoidal bow windows rising over the upper floors. Typical features include serrated mouldings, stepped profiles and chevron-arched doorways topped by floral decoration. The window joinery is preserved, and the interior of no. 24 keeps a simple wooden Art Deco staircase. The group has been protected as a monument since 2002.
