Art Deco town house named 'VILLA HETTY-ULYSSE', built in 1934 to plans by the architect A. Devreese (Ostend) by the contractor I. Lingier (Bredene). A single-fronted house of three bays and three storeys, it has elaborated upper floors: a bow window on the bel-étage is set against a stepped-back second floor. The cornice façade is treated as a pediment, crowned by a relief of a flower basket; the openings are rectangular, with replaced joinery, and a small porch with a flat surround leads to the front door. It belongs to the interwar ensemble of houses on the Graaf de Smet de Naeyerlaan (nos. 52-56, 60-70, 74-80, 84-98), protected as a monument in 2005.
