Pair of Art Deco dwellings with an ocean-liner (Paquebot) influence, built in 1935 by the Entreprises Capelle to designs by their own architects; no. 19 avenue des Héliotropes closes a coherent row of buildings of the same period. The façades are in orange brick enhanced with white imitation stone and white stone, above a high plinth of bluestone slabs. At no. 55 rue des Mimosas stands a large three-façade villa whose canted corner is decorated with a tall floral stone bas-relief forming an arcade; the attic storey, pierced with oculi and with curved returns, forms a terrace under a flat concrete roof carried on two colonnettes. At no. 19 avenue des Héliotropes, a two-storey house beneath a mansard and flat roof has a ribbon window and a small floral bas-relief on the upper floor, preserved doors and wrought-iron grilles with geometric decoration. The pair is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
