Art Deco apartment building designed in 1935 by the architect Jos Baeyens for F. Wijters and built in 1936. The eight-storey, flat-roofed building with a reinforced-concrete frame has a natural-stone façade dominated by a bay window spanning almost its full width, emphasised horizontally by the sills of the ribbon windows. The wrought-iron entrance door with its grid pattern and the building name and numbers in metal letters are original. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
