An Art Deco town house in Merksem, built in 1933 to a design by the architect G. Wouters, whose name is carved on the facade. It forms a group with nos. 54 and 56, divided into plots and developed in 1932 by Jan Adriaan Van Dyck-De Vlam; badly damaged in 1945, it was fully restored. The red brick facade, enriched with white stone decorated with garlands, rosettes and stylised foliage, is dominated by a three-sided oriel on brackets topped by a balcony, under a pseudo-mansard roof. It exceptionally retains its original joinery as well as the grille of the front door.
