An originally detached Art Deco villa in Kessel-Lo, built to a 1935 design by the architect Petrus De Rijck (Temse) for J. Rosseels; the façade drawings named it "De Ring" before it took the name Terloo. It stands out for its decoratively used brickwork, a striking play of roofs and finely detailed joinery, all of which have survived intact. The façade combines a door bay beneath a tall broken gable decorated with tumbled brickwork with a low bay pierced by a large round window framed in sintered brick; the name TERLOO is set in dark brick. The district laid out around it in 1950 adopted its building line.
