Modest villa in the "Dutch style", an Art Deco idiom influenced by the Amsterdam School, built in Ekeren by NV Nationaal Grondbezit, the firm of the Dutch contractor Willem Sebastiaan Van der Sterre. Designed in 1930, it is the first of the so-called Dutch houses in the block and the only one in which an architect, the Dutchman G. Adriaans, was involved. It has one bay and one storey, with an extra floor in the steep mansard roof covered with dark tiles, and a three-sided bay window on the ground floor. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
