Modest villa in the "Dutch style", an Art Deco idiom influenced by the Amsterdam School, built in Ekeren for NV Nationaal Grondbezit, the firm of the Dutch contractor Willem Sebastiaan Van der Sterre, to a 1931 design, together with an identical house on the adjoining plot. It has two bays and one storey, with a floor inside the steep, widely overhanging mansard pyramid roof covered with dark tiles. The corner entrance is sheltered by a balcony on pillars. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
