A detached Art Deco villa of 1924, set back from and perpendicular to the road, on a rectangular plan of two storeys under an asymmetrical gable roof. A flat-roofed annex was added against the right gable in 1928 by the architect Barnard, who enlarged it and added a storey in 1934. The red-brick façades, set off with rendered elements above a sandstone rubble base, show two curved projections under domed roofs, a polygonal terrace with chequerboard tiling, a trapezoidal bay and a metal railing with a wave pattern. Originally, the interior was arranged around a central hall opening onto the terrace, with a free-standing staircase of three straight flights and a carved wooden banister.
