Examples of interwar architecture oscillating between modernism and Art Deco, these two twin semi-detached houses were built in 1937 to plans by the architect J. Werbrouck. Covered by a single tiled mansard roof broken by a dormer and underlined by a cornice on flat-relief profiled corbels, they have identical but mirrored façades. They retain most of their original window frames and door joinery, particularly at no. 24, and stand out for the projecting first floor forming a balcony, reminiscent of the ocean-liner style.
