Kiosque à musique du parc communal — Mouscron

Built in 1937-1938 under the mayoralty of Joseph Vandevelde, on the edge of the pond in the municipal park, this bandstand was designed in the Art Deco style, which the inventory notes is rare for this type of structure. In concrete, limestone and yellow brick with recessed joints, it stands out for the angular treatment of its base, its paired columns with ocean-liner-style capitals, the frieze of flat-relief motifs running beneath the projecting cornice, and its domed zinc roof. It was listed as a monument by decree of 15 July 2026.
