Ensemble in sober Art Deco of two multi-family houses with small front gardens and one single-family house, built for Adolf Gylsen to a 1936 design by the architect A. De Landtsheer, in the Exhibition district. The two storeys under flat roofs have red-brown brick facing on a bluestone plinth; a broad white stone band beneath the upper windows unifies the group and stresses its horizontality. The house on Vlaamsekunstlaan stands out with its white-stone-clad ground floor and central entrance. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
