Art Deco town house built for Aloïs Van Cauwenberghe to a 1929 design by the architects Léopold De Coninck and Maurice Potié. This semi-detached house of two storeys under a pseudo-mansard has brick cornice façades with sparing use of natural stone, and a side projection with pilasters, a bow window and a balcony. The sober decoration is limited to Art Deco mouldings, a few stylised tendrils and the geometric wrought iron of the balcony, door and front-garden railing; in the hall two double round-arched doors survive with Art Deco leaded glass depicting a stylised flower vase. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
