Two mirror-image paired multi-family houses in Art Deco style influenced by the Amsterdam School, designed in 1928 by the master builder Leonard Verbeeck for the brothers-in-law François White (no. 52) and Joseph Jonkers (no. 50), and completed in 1929. The two-bay, two-storey façades with cornice under a tiled mansard roof, in red brick with expressive bonding and sparing use of white stone and bluestone, are marked by side projections with three-sided oriels crowned by a broken gable. Decorative brickwork fans out around the round-arched doors of the recessed paired porches. The pair is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
