Art Deco town house built for J. Wittemans by the company 'Oost West Thuis Best' to a 1935 design by its house architect Edmond Lauwens. The three-bay, three-storey façade with cornice under a slate mock mansard, in red brick with a bluestone plinth and surrounds and ornaments in white artificial stone, emphasises the central projection, treated as a bow window on the first floor, between piers crowned by stepped finials with laurel wreaths. The wooden garage door, front door and windows, as well as the wrought-iron grilles, survive. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
