This wide Art Deco house, comprising offices and two flats, was designed in 1928 by the architect Auguste Vannieuwenborgh. Its façade of light brick, white stone and bluestone has three storeys under a mansard and three unequal bays, the last fronted by an oriel and topped by an imposing gabled dormer. The central round-arched pedestrian door is set back within an imposing shaped white-stone surround. The oriel, on a stepped corbel, carries a terrace with a masonry parapet; spandrels and friezes play on projecting brickwork, and the original glazing-bar frames survive.
