This asymmetrically composed Art Deco apartment building is signed and dated by the architect Jean Maelschalck in 1927. Its five-storey façade of red brick, punctuated by broad bands of white imitation stone, is enlivened by trapezoidal bow windows on massive brackets with fruit garlands and by a pointed oriel running through three storeys. One spandrel depicts, among other things, a striding naked man; the original doors and window frames survive.
