Multi-family house in the Art Deco style built for Mrs Th. Ruyten-Visschers to a 1925 design by Th. Ruyten, the only known private work of this architect or building technician employed by the City of Antwerp; the main dwelling occupied the ground and first floors, with identical rental flats on the three upper floors. The asymmetrical five-storey cornice façade, in red brick generously combined with natural stone, emphasises the wide side bay with a two-storey three-sided oriel and a curved balcony at the top. The stylised classical ornament — polygonal medallions with abstracted flower baskets, a trapezoidal pediment between fluted drums — is typically Art Deco; the joinery and ironwork survive. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
