Maison de l'architecte Hilaire De Boom — Saint-Nicolas

This Art Deco house was built in 1925 by the architect H. De Boom as his own home. Its two-bay, three-storey brick facade on a high bluestone plinth is enlivened on the upper floors by white rendered sections. It features ground-floor windows with five-sided heads, a parapet decorated with a bas-relief and a curved oriel whose parapet bears a fruit bowl, topped by a wrought-iron balcony railing.
