Maison de commerce Art déco, Stationsstraat 57 — Lebbeke

Shop-house in the Art Deco style of two storeys under a gabled roof with a broad central dormer, built in 1931 according to the cadastral records, together with four other houses (nos. 51, 53, 55 and 59). Built in orange-red brick with flat white bands, it stands out on the upper floor for a three-sided rendered and white-painted bay window spanning the full width of the façade, its parapets decorated with typical Art Deco floral motifs. Above, the dormer has paired windows and a projecting cornice on small brackets; the ground floor is taken up by a shopfront. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
