This Art Deco town house was built in 1929 by the architect Gaston Brunfaut, who had designed a similar house at no. 536 a year earlier. Its brown-brick façade, enhanced with rendered elements, white stone and bluestone, plays on varied bonding, with upright or projecting bricks. On the ground floor the door is crowned by a lintel forming a trapezoidal canopy; above, a trapezoidal oriel rests on a brick corbel. A deeply projecting cornice crowns the whole, and the original joinery, with horizontal glazing bars, survives.
