An Art Deco apartment building with a commercial ground floor, designed in 1929 by the architect Gaston Brunfaut for the Comptoir National des Matériaux, on the corner of Rue Ernest Vander Aa. V-shaped in plan, it has five storeys and links its two façades of yellow and red brick by a canted bay with paired windows. On the upper floors, the bays are set back between monumental stepped pilasters and fitted with balconies on a trapezoidal or triangular plan; a blind section of wall is enlivened by a geometric pattern of projecting bricks. The building has been recorded in the statutory inventory since 19 August 2024.
