Art Deco apartment building in the ocean-liner or streamline style, built under a 1939 permit application to designs by the Ghent architect Emile De Nil, for Raymond Haelterman. The symmetrical yellow-brick façade with Dudok joints, enlivened by bright green and brown glazed tiles, has three storeys above two half-sunken garages under a flat roof. The central bay is marked by a tall round-arched stair window with abstract leaded glass, flanked by wide brick bay windows with rounded inner corners, horizontal windows and surviving curved glazing. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
