Art Deco townhouse built in 1934 for C. de Raedt to a design by the architect Paul Van Dormael (building permit of 18 August 1934). Whereas the neighbouring house, designed by the same architect in 1935, adopts a restrained modernism, this one still belongs entirely to Art Deco. Its yellow-brick façade, with massive bluestone surrounds and moulded string courses, is dominated by a three-sided oriel on a stylised console, topped by a balcony with a geometric wrought-iron railing; the original timber joinery survives. The building is recorded in the architectural heritage inventory.
