A single-family house designed in 1933 by the architect Raymond Vankeerberghen for Messrs Goemans and Stroobants, part of a group of six houses built at the same time at numbers 1 to 11 Groenstraat in Heverlee, combining Art Deco and modernist influences. Its facade of narrow light-red brick with recessed Dudok joints, on a bluestone plinth bearing the architect's signature, emphasises the piano nobile. There, a rounded artificial-stone oriel is visually linked by continuous pilasters to the three-light window of the upper floor, whose balcony has a wrought-iron balustrade with a triangular cut-out. The joinery has been replaced.
