Maison Art déco, rue François Stroobant 22

Art Deco house signed and dated by the architect René Detry, 1924. The two-storey façade of three unequal bays, in orange brick enhanced with imitation stone and blue stone, is articulated by rectangular windows between pilasters. The very narrow first bay stands out with projecting or recessed breast walls, while the entrance bay has openings with stepped jambs. The third bay is fronted by a trapezoidal projecting bay; the joinery survives, including a transom with a lozenge-patterned glazing. The house is recorded in the inventory.
