Art Deco house and shop, created in 1932 by the architect Robert Van Landegem through the remodelling of a neoclassical house from 1875. It has four storeys and a single bay on the upper floors; the ground floor, faced with black tiles, comprises a shop window and a recessed entrance. The brick upper floors are flanked by pilasters on geometric corbels and pierced by triple windows; a trapezoidal oriel on a corbel occupies the middle storeys and carries a terrace with a wrought-iron railing with radiating motifs. The entablature, flanked by dies, is decorated with herringbone brickwork, and the original window frames with geometric glazing bars in the transoms survive. The house is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
