Maison Art déco, rue de Gerlache 46

Art Deco house built following a building permit application of 1926. Its brick façade has two bays and three storeys; the first two are framed by channelled pilasters, while the top storey, treated as an attic, has a brick surround. The ground floor opens through a round-arched door and a triple window above a bluestone plinth pierced for the cellars. On the upper floor, two trapezoidal bays separated by a pier sit within a deeply bevelled, cemented and painted frame, beneath a projecting cornice. The house is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
