Two houses of flats built symmetrically in the Art Deco style, following a 1926 permit application by the contractors Henri and Désiré Borgers. Their cement-rendered and painted façade, scored to imitate joints, has two bays of unequal width over three and a half storeys, whereas three were planned, and is divided into registers by moulded bands. The main bay projects and is articulated by pilasters on the upper floors above a bow window topped by a balustraded balcony, and is lit by triple windows. The openings have depressed lintels at no. 52 and straight lintels at no. 54; the buildings are recorded in the inventory.
