Art Deco house designed in 1939 by Geo Pauwels, architect in Ghent, according to the plinth inscription and the building permit kept in the Zelzate municipal archives. A single-fronted house of two bays and two storeys under a flat roof, it is strongly horizontal, marked by a string course above the ground floor and a full-width bay window on the upper floor. The right-hand bay has two identical paired doors. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
