Maison Art déco, Oostkade 14 — Zelzate

Fairly well-preserved Art Deco terraced house, built in 1929 according to the building permit to designs by the architect Georges Pauwels. Its three storeys in orange brick, with contrasting white-painted parts, stand on a bluestone plinth; the roof has been renewed. The squat ground floor combines a central round-arched door, a basket-arched window and a garage door, while the vertically accented upper floor has a wide central oriel topped by a balcony and loggia.
